US Region-1 DVDs don&#8217;t play overseas (<a title=\"It's the thought that counts\" href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/film\/filmblog\/2009\/mar\/06\/obama-dvd-brown\" target=\"_blank\">link<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Requiring those who receive the stimulus dollars to &#8216;buy American&#8217; could &#8216;signal protectionism,&#8217; and that would just give the wrong idea to all other countries (<a title=\"Don't want to offend China\" href=\"http:\/\/www.politicsdaily.com\/2009\/02\/13\/obama-abandons-buy-american-stimulus-provision\/\" target=\"_blank\">link<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Being accurate on your tax forms is optional, unless you are nominated for a cabinet position (<a title=\"Close enough for government work\" href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/news\/washington\/2009-02-05-solis-husband-taxes_N.htm\" target=\"_blank\">link<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Have someone fact-check the third sentence of the first important speach as president (<a title=\"Oh yeah, that one guy did it twice, didn't he?!\" href=\"http:\/\/voices.washingtonpost.com\/44\/2009\/01\/20\/inauguration_flub_watch.html\" target=\"_blank\">link<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m sure there are more, but at least we are off to a great educational start.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My bowling score is better than necessary to qualify for the Special Olympics (link).
