I think I just broke my own record.\u00a0 I have recently become very adept at re-setting all of the clocks around our house.\u00a0 Well, with the exception of one which neither of us have yet to figure out and always read the wrong time before we even moved here.\u00a0 It seems that the small town in which we habitate is possibly experiencing growing pains.\u00a0 This comes in the form of frequent random power outages (a list of things to do in T-town during said outages follows).\u00a0\u00a0Quite often\u00a0these outages\u00a0are just long enough to\u00a0erase the time on all\u00a0your clocks, and sometimes they last quite a bit\u00a0longer.\u00a0 Being a seasonably warm month, this phenomenon has picked up of late.\u00a0 Thus, both of us have become very skilled at setting the time on our many clocks throughout the house (whoever thought of battery operated clocks must be very rich now!).\u00a0 Everyone knows that girls\u00a0only want guys with great skills (which I assume goes both ways) so\u00a0we have found this to be a real relationship\u00a0picker upper.\u00a0 So, before your next outage, read up in your owner\u00a0manuals on how to\u00a0set\u00a0the time on your clocks!\u00a0\u00a0Your\u00a0newfound skills will be seriously impressive.\u00a0 Seriously.\u00a0 Now if only they’d make clock setting an Olympic sport . . .<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Things to do around\u00a0here\u00a0when the power is out:\u00a0 study your clock’s owner’s manuals, appreciate cows, go for a walk,\u00a0light\u00a0a trash can\u00a0to warm the homeless, do the power\u00a0dance\u00a0. . .
